PRESENTS 2010 FALL SKILLS, DRILLS & SCRIMMAGE CAMPS
SCROLL DOWN FOR LOCATIONS, DATES AND TIMES
DESCRIPTION:
Our coaching staff will teach you all you
need to know to play lacrosse - from the basics of catching and throwing to
offensive and defensive strategies. This program is ideal for beginners, but it
is also very beneficial for experienced players as it focuses on the fundamentals
of lacrosse. All youth players, even experienced ones, benefit from reinforcing
the fundamental skills of lacrosse.
The players that master these fundamentals are the ones that excel at
the high school and college level.
Early practices will focus on fundamentals and concepts and we will put
these skills to use in weekly scrimmages. Overall program focus will be on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
FORMAT:
Groups will meet once a week on their designated program day. Each session will consist of a warm-up, drills and instruction that cover all of the fundamentals and concepts of lacrosse, games and contests, and instructional scrimmages. There is no travel involved in this program. All participants receive a t-shirt.
GRADES:
Our fall skills, drills and scrimmage camps accommodate players from kindergarten through eighth grade. However, the grade span does vary by location. Please see your town’s specific program information below for exact grades and ages.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
Accommodates all experience levels. All players, from beginner to expert, can benefit from additional instruction that is often overlooked during “team” practices. More experienced players are recommended to join our GLENVIEW FALL LEAGUE, VERNON HILLS FALL LEAGUE, OR FALL SHOOTOUT TOURNAMENT in addition, and put their newly developed skills into play during competitive games.
GENDER:

All players will need their own equipment for these programs. Equipment can be rented or purchased through any Lacrosse America retail location.
